Hi Guys!!!!!!!!
Today is day three, but it is the first chance we have had to write here. So... let's step back in time.....
Day 1!
This was a very early start and a really boring day!!! We didn't actually do much, but were still shattered! We just flew all day, crossing about three countries and stopping 4 times! We got tot the guesthouse at 230 tThursday morning and fell into bed. The hostel is nice and basic! However we have to take our shoes off all the time and it's really annoying but never mind we're in the arctic!!!!
Day 2
Today was our first full day in the Arctic. We visited the largest satellite station in the world (it was actually really interesting!) There was supposed to be a great view, but theere was too much fog! It was very cold today!!!!(more than we expected- glad we've got our thermals...) We ate out and had pizza (yes it does exist in the Arctic!) We had to walk to the restaurant and yes Mary had shorts on!!!!!!! Brrrrrrrr
Day 3
Today we had our safety training. In the morning we started off with firearms training. fortunately for the polar bears, we don't get to shoot at all, which we were all gutted about!!! Then we went to the water for the next part of our training. We had to wear gorgeaous, bright orange suits which were miles too big for us (and leaked!) However, we did keep quite warm when we weere lowered into the water and swam back to shore! (well mary & rach swam becky & amanda hitched a ride!!!!)
Today the BBC have joined us- the presenter who was in london is here!! (Mary's very happy about this-NOT!) It is actually quite warm today which is very weird!
Look out for us ion the papers (The Telkegraph, Indepentdent, Metro and Journal etc. ) and on look North.
Today we spokje to lots of the other teams and their all really nice!!!

Sounds great team. It seems you maybe able to speak to some of your mates face to face on Tuesday. Even with you away they seem to be keeping me busy on your behalf...cheers! Have fun...See if you can get the press people to let you know when they are feeding stories back and I'll try to catch stuff to record it for you.

It sounds as if your having a great time! I wish i was there with you! When are you on tv? Have you seen and polar bears yet? Or any other WILD animals? Im looking forward to seeing you again when you eventually get back home! I bet you'll never want to come home! You must be having a blast! I bet its going really quick though!

Hi been to HBC this am. Viv, Louise, Vera, Heather C and Mary D wanted to know how you were geting on. Mary D has been watching "Good Morning" and is thrilled for you all. She likes the polar bear cards. Also Jen says that the youth leader were asking about you and saw you all on the news. Also I was in Goathland and Mrs T was asking about you. So LOTS of interest. Hope the next stage on the boat is CALM and you see polar bears.

I went tramolining today, and yesterday, (isnt that intersting, bet you wish you were here lol :P) ooh, and mary you were'nt there to see me !LAND! my sumasault! Legs straight and everything! And i now get the mat pushed in for me so i can bounce on the bed higher, without the mat. Oh i had two things to tell you but i forgot...
Oh yer something to make you all laugh. We were all watching a programme, and its based in a vet, and a dog was having puppies, and Oliver went..."EH HOW COME A HUMAN IS HAVING PUPPIES" in a totally confused voice. I couldnt stop laughing. Oh and Mary he also calls barannis <---(you might not know what that says cos a dunno how to spell it, but it was meant to be the trampolining thing) any way he calls them farannis haha he was going "OH AND WHEN I HAVE FINISHED MY SUMASAULT I WILL LEARN MY FRONT FARANNIS"
Wow soon i will be able to speak to yas and see you all! Am sooooo exited, and Amy said i have to say Hi from her, cos they're all on the boat trip!

So glad you made it there in one piece. only 6 more sleeps & you will be home. Mary we would see you untill the Monday so you will have to tell all you stories all over again. Shorts for the Artic! so what are you going to be wearing in Majorca! Enjoy it tp the Max take loads of Photos you need to put them in your keep sake boxes. I been asked to do a follow up story when you get back to go in the BT Today paper.
