This is our amazing blog! Welcome one and all. Here you can track our progress as we prepare for and visit the infamous Arctic! We hope that you will all have alot of fun reading this (and it might save us a postcard or two!) Enjoy!
About Us
- TEAM EFFELENCE
- We are from the North East of England. There are four of us in the team - Mary, Amanda, Becky and Rachel. Amanda was the one who invented our name - she was convinced it was a word! (It is now ",)Becky is the one who came up with the actual idea and then we all helped to develop this idea. We are all really good friends, and we hope that by going on this trip of a lifetime, we can get to know each other better, whilst having a really good laugh!
Our team
- Becky - she keeps us down to earth when we all get nervous! she's really practical (she might come up with an ingenious idea to keep us warm...)
- Amanda - she never fails to give us a flash of inspiration at anytime of the day (or night) and is always up for any challenge.
- Mary - she gives us some crazy ideas, but we have to admit, they always work!
- Rach - she keeps everyone organised - or the other three would be all set to go to Australia or something!
Thanks to...
- Our families - We love you all!!! They have all been really supportive, encouraging and are sooo pleased for us! We will miss you so much.
- Mr Willis - he came to the London finals with us ( Thanks for putting up with us) and has helped us organise for the big trip!
- Our friends - We could not have done this without them. They have always stood by us, and are now tolerating constant Arctic talk!!!
- Mr Haines - He also has really good ideas. He's been really supportive!
- The rest of the science department - We are surprised they still talk to us - we seem to have spent the last few months living in the labs!
